According to the country quality index, Ukraine topped the first place in 2018, which is thanks to the great development of Ukraine's IT industry. Ukraine is home to global companies that started out as successful startups, including Grammarly, Depositphotos, MacPaw, and Petcube. Oracle, Ring, Siemens, Cisco and Samsung have all set up major research and development facilities in Ukraine.
