Ukraine is in the international ranking
Since 2014, simplification of bureaucratic procedures, easing of tax pressure and successful political reforms have strengthened Ukraine's place in the international ranking. This growth has been recognized by the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and reputable international financial institutions. To independently compare Ukraine's economic attractiveness with other countries, we have compiled a list of international rankings that measure ease of doing business, human capital, and macroeconomic stability.
Doing business
Ukraine climbed seven places in the 2020 edition of the World Bank's annual Doing Business Survey, and is now ranked 64 in the impact survey as progress has continued in recent years.
Ukraine advanced in six of the top ten categories including improvements in getting electricity, registering property, and trading across borders. This is the latest improvement in Ukraine's position after steady gains after the 2013-2014 Euromaidan revolution.
Ukraine has now climbed 48 places since the October 2013 release of the annual survey, when it ranked 112th in the world.
