“Danubeshipservice” was established in 1944, when a ship repair yard was established to provide repairs to the helicopter gunships of the Danube Fleet in a quiet and picturesque location in Ismail Danube. In 1952, the “Ship Repair Yard” was reorganized into the “Ismail Mechanical Ship Repair Factory”, which became the main repair institution for the “Antarctic Fishing Association”. The plant is equipped to repair ships such as medium sail nets in the Black Sea, industrial transport network, medium fish cooling refrigerator, “Atlantic”, “Super Atlantic”. Repair work on ships at sea and river ships such as the ships of the Ukrainian Danube Line became possible with the acquisition of new equipment in 1991. In 1995, the plant became privately owned and was renamed OJS "Danube Ship Service Corporation". The company was subsequently split into two legal entities, OJS “Dunaisudoservice” and OJS - Ship Repair Corporation “Dunaisudoservice” as a result of the restructuring in 2002. During the period 2002-2003, the ownership structure of the company was reorganized, and the company saw a sharp increase in the volume of its production. During the period 2002-2003, the turnover was 1.8 million grivnas, and by 2004 the turnover had increased to 6.9 million grivnas.
