Kharkov City Art Gallery, one of the first in Ukraine with municipal status, was established at the end of 1996. From 1997 it is a member of the Art Galleries Association of Ukraine. At the disposal of the exhibition there is a secular hall (list) (total exhibition area - 120 sq.m.) with modern interior and professional equipment. Director: Tatiana Thomasyan. The main mission of the exhibition is to popularize contemporary art and above all the works of artists in Kharkov and Ukraine. The main circle of exhibition authors includes famous Kharkov artists, prominent masters of modern and contemporary Ukrainian art - participants of prestigious national and foreign exhibitions, who work in painting, graphics, sculpture, artistic photography, artistic design, new media and other technologies. Artists' Drawings: Pavel Makov, Natalie Myronenko (Honorary Artist of Ukraine), Elena Codinova, Oleg Veklenko (Honored Artist from Ukraine); In its time of existence, the gallery has become a popular center for contemporary art, famous and trusted outside the borders of Kharkov and Ukraine. Since then, the gallery has organized around 400 exhibitions, curatorial projects and artworks in and outside the fair area. It also organized a range of personal exhibitions and artistic projects of authors from Kharkov, Kiev, Odessa, Moscow, Nalchik, Penza, Arangelsk, Ivan, Warsaw, Vienna, London, Paris, Nuremberg, Poznan, Suffolk and 39 group exhibitions by foreign authors from Austria, Great Britain, Germany, France, the USA, Poland, Russia, Moldova, Israel and Armenia.
