Modeling in circles is done by a special grace. Side lobbies and along the stairs leading to the caskets. All kinds of lamps, candlesticks and decorative bronze inlays are original and innovatively made. Perhaps, in any of the theaters there is no tastefully made curtain, which was identified by the eminent theater painter - Golovin. The area of the theater is 500 square meters.

The unique acoustics allow a whisper to be delivered from the stage to any part of the hall.

Theater began in Odessa from the early days of the founding of the city. Opera and ballet theater has the right to be called the largest among a large number of cultural institutions. Odessa sought for the right to build the theater in 1804, and in 1809 it was actually built. On February 10, 1810, the first perfomance was held - the Russian troupe performed by Fortunatov performed a one-piece opera for Feralie "New Family" and Vaudeville "The Consoling Widow". Unfortunately, in 1873 an old building burned down. It was completely burned. Recovering was out of the question. It was a tragedy that regressed from one position - no one suffered. A draft has been proposed for a new city theater for Viennese architects F. Felner Y. Helmer. Eleven years have passed since the first brick was laid on the foundation of the new theater building. The theater was inaugurated on October 1, 1887. The Odessa Opera and Ballet House was built in the Viennese “Baroque” style, which was one of the most important European arts from the end of the sixteenth century until
Mid eighteenth century. A sculpture group above the back depicts one of the inspirers - the patron of art - Melpomena. She was sitting in a chariot, mocked by the Four Angry Panthers, who had been subdued. A little below there are sculptural groups of subjects of ancient mythology. At the bottom, near the central entrance, on the high pillars, two sculptural groups have been created that embody comedy and tragedy: on the left - part of the tragedy Everead “Ippolite”, on the right - an episode of the comedy by Aristophani: “The Birds”. Along the base of the building in the bays of the Upper Circle are busts of great Russian art and literature creators. Pushkin, Glinka, Griboyedov, Gogol are placed. The most beautiful part of the building is its hall. Its architecture has been preserved in the 'Rococo' style. It is luxuriously decorated with various exquisite gold cast motifs. The roof is of particular interest. Four images of Feller in the shape of a locket (medallion) at the base.
Scenes from the works are Syakespeare: “Hamlet,” “A Dream on a Summer Night,” “A Winter's Tale,” and “As You Like It,” pictured on it. There are many different stucco decorations in the hall and in all circles.
