Ukrchastotnaglyad

The Ukrainian State Radio-Frequency Center -Centre “Ukrchastotnaglyad” is a specially licensed radio frequency agency, which acts as a State Inspection Authority for Telecommunications in Ukraine (STI) and belongs to the governing domain of the Communications Administration of Ukraine, whose powers are entrusted to the State Committee for Communications and Informatics of Ukraine.

The “Ukrchastotnaglyad” center operates in accordance with normative and legal documents included in the section “Legal basis for the center’s activities”.

The powers of the Ukrainian State Center for Radio Frequencies - Center “Ukrchastotnaglyad” are stipulated in Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine “On Radio Frequency Resources in Ukraine”:
Assignment of radio frequencies and call signals;
Issuing permits for design, modernization, manufacture, purchase, implementation, sale and use of radio electronic facilities (REFs) and radio radiation devices on the territory of Ukraine, as well as import of the above-mentioned devices for civilian and military users;
Radio monitoring, recording and state supervision of the use of radio frequency resources in Ukraine by civilian and military users;
Participate (according to established procedures) in the work of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and other international organizations dealing with issues of use of radio frequency resources, including international legal support and coordination of frequency assignments;
Participate in the preparation of draft laws and other normative and legal bills, as well as conduct scientific and experimental research on radio frequency resources in Ukraine;
Execution of other powers according to the laws of Ukraine.

In accordance with the powers and existing laws, “Ukrchastotnaglyad” performs the following functions:
Monitor and supervise activities such as:
Manufacture, implementation (sale), import and use of reference frameworks for civilian purposes;
Ensuring the permissible level of interference for radio and television reception;
Fulfillment of licensing requirements by licensees in the telecommunications field.
Use the only standardized communication network equipment for general and administrative use.
