Corporation The non-governmental organization “Ukrainian Beekeepers Brotherhood” was created on May 14, 2005. At the founding meeting Viktor Yushchenko, the President of Ukraine was elected as the Supervising Chairman of the “Ukrainian Beekeepers Brotherhood”, and Sergei Olasik was elected to be the President of the “Ukrainian Beekeepers Brotherhood”

Brotherhood mission The mission is: to unite beekeepers in Ukraine for joint efforts in the development of society, establish a wise attitude towards nature and mankind, revive the traditions of beekeeping in Ukraine, and improve the health of the nation through beekeeping.

Goal The main objective is: Encouraging social initiatives in beekeeping communities directed towards community development and strengthening, protecting the interests of beekeepers and meeting their professional needs.

The Brotherhood's international affairs program is being implemented. The Ukrainian-Korean Beekeeping Forum was held in terms of this program.
The President of the International Federation of Apimondia Asger Zugard Urgensoen and the Secretary General of FIITA Cristian Constantinescu visited Ukraine in the summer of 2007.

Generally speaking, the Ukrainian NGO, the Beekeepers Brotherhood of Ukraine, aims to develop business relations with NGOs in other countries. The main objective of this collaboration is to increase the professional expertise of the beekeeper, exchange information, cultural and spiritual achievements and beekeeping traditions.

In international affairs, the Ukrainian Beekeeper Brotherhood, a non-governmental organization in Ukraine, has started the Forum of Beekeeping Associations in Ukraine, in accordance with global standards.
