“LIRA” was founded in October 1999. We started with a Ukrainian rented electric saw seat and five workers.
Thanks to the right strategy and the right relationships with buyers, we increased our production by 180/200% in six months (i.e. March 2000).
2001 - The year we really declare ourselves in the market. We increased our production area and doubled our production. 70 people worked in our company.
In 2002 we strengthened our positions on the specified domestic level and entered the international wood market. The production area has been increased to 3 hectares. From April through September the number of pansher was increased to 12. Production was increased by 300/400%. 98 people worked in our company until the end of 2002. We paid great attention to the improvement of the land and workplaces. In December 2002 we started to export our production.
Exports reached 2,500 cubic meters during the first quarter of 2003. It was clear that we needed new equipment to increase exports. Based on that, we bought 2 band saw tables in Germany. We also bought counters for bargain board, planks, wrappers, and base fabrication. In the same period, four drains were built. Its total capacity is 700 cubic meters per month.
At the end of 2003, we inaugurated the new workshop (1000 square meters) for bargain board, slabs, casings and base manufacturing. A new line of inlayed and affixed beams was established. All products have factory and store quality.
