Oranta National Joint Stock Insurance Company was established on November 25, 1921 and was called Ukrderzhstrakh until 1993. In 1994, Oranta National Joint Stock Insurance Company was established on the basis of Ukrderzhstrakh, with state representation among the founders by the State Property Fund of Ukraine . In 2007, Oranta National Joint Stock Insurance Company became a private company, and continued to develop as a leader in the Ukrainian insurance market, improving its management system and introducing new business technologies.

The company is guided in its activities by a strategy aimed at increasing its share in the classic market while constantly expanding the range of insurance products and raising the quality of its services to clients. Today Auranta is the leader in the classic insurance market in Ukraine.

Auranta is a reputable member of the American Chamber of Commerce and the European Business Association.
