The bank was registered on November 30, 1990 as Share Innovative Commercial NPK-Bank (Nauka, Promyshlennost ', Kultura - Science, Industry, Culture). In October 1991, it was reorganized as NPK-Joint Stock Commercial Bank and in May 1996 the bank changed its name to REAL BANK. Since 2002, the bank has been called REAL BANK. The bank is a member of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, the Kharkiv Banking Union, the Kiev International Stock Exchange, the Deposit Guarantee Fund for Natural Persons, and the Society for International Interbank Financial Communications (SWIFT). The bank has established correspondent relationships with Citibank NA (USA), Commerzbank AG (Germany), ING Belgium SA / NV (Belgium), Rietumu Banka (Latvia), Alfa-Bank, CB Garant-Invest (Russian Federation) among others.
