International Association of Ukrainian-Turkish Businessmen

The idea of establishing the International Turkish Businessmen Association (hereinafter referred to as “TUID”) was born in March 2004. Thanks to the diligence of a few Turkish businessmen and the moral support of our embassy in the beginning of September in accordance with the Ukrainian law system, it is a non-profit organization.

The TUID 4th Council led by Mr. Erkan Picard, newly elected at the TUID Public Meeting, held on March 7, 2009, will continue to focus on the progress and increase of the association's activities.

TUID accepts individuals / corporate members. We pay special attention to the fact that our candidates present an active business activity in Ukraine. We require copies of the company registration document, passport visa, and tax identification code as supplementary documents. On the other hand, only one member from each company can be a member of TUID. Thus, the number of our members corresponds to the number of companies registered with TUID.

TUID registered companies operate entirely in various spheres of industry from construction, telecommunications, textiles, and banking to the retail trade and purchasing of raw materials.

Turkish construction companies play an important role in the international contracting market. Turkish contracting companies operating in Ukraine have established a very good reputation as responsible and competent partners, and have successfully completed projects to build hotels, residential homes, business and entertainment centers, and in this way strengthened the strength of Turkish contractors in dealing with almost all types. Civil and industrial projects.

In the field of Ukrainian telecommunications, especially in the field of GSM operators, there is an important contribution from Turkish investors, among whom are many of our members.

The Turkish textile and leather industry has achieved a leading position not only in the European market but in the international market as well. Many Turkish textile companies operating in Ukraine deal in retail and import trade.

The tourism industry is an important area of cooperation between our two countries. Turkish tourism companies are successfully presenting their business activity in Ukraine. Also due to the advantages of our members - Turkish tourism agencies, operating in Ukraine, the number of Ukrainian tourists visiting Turkey, is rapidly increasing from year to year.
