The National Technical University of Ukraine “Kiev Polytechnic Institute” ranks first at the national level, and is internationally recognized for the number of postgraduate programs. NTUU KPI was established in 1898 and since then it remains one of the best technical universities in Europe renowned for its academic excellence and innovative research.

The spirit and glory of the great university created by famous scholars, such as Dmitry Mendeleev, Sergey Korolev, Igor Sikorsky, Stephen Tymoshenko, Viktor Kirbyshev, Eugene Patton, and many others, are supported at present by fifty-eight, two thousand academics. The professors and many great scholars are members of the university's active faculty. Every year NTUU KPI becomes home to fifty thousand students from all over the world.
