USUCE is a prominent scientific center in Ukraine. Its technological development and scientific research is recognized both in Ukraine and abroad. There are 2 Scientific Research Institutes (SRI) and 7 Scientific Research Laboratories (SRL) in the scientific division of the university.

College of pre-college training:
Persons with secondary or college education may be enrolled.
Studies run from September 1 through October 1 after compilation and are completed on June 30.
Students who successfully pass the exams are registered for the first-year course at the university.
Students are provided with a hostel while studying.
Students are provided with textbooks in both Russian and Ukrainian (to improve training in the initial steps, students are advised to use the literature of their native languages in chemistry, physics, mathematics as well as dictionaries).

Bachelor training program:
Pre-college students who successfully pass graduation exams are registered in the first? General course of the university.
Studies are conducted from September 1 to June 30.
The training period for a Bachelor's degree is four years.
During this time students are provided with a hostel.
Students are provided with textbooks (in Romanian and Ukrainian languages).

Master's training program Students with a bachelor’s degree may be enrolled in the master’s training program.
Studies are conducted from September 1 to June 30.
The training period for the master's degree is two years.
During this time students are provided with a hostel.
Students are provided with textbooks (in Romanian and Ukrainian languages).

Postgraduate training
People with a master's degree can study on a postgraduate course. Registration for the postgraduate course is held according to the results of entrance examinations from the first until the 31st of October.
Studies begin in the postgraduate course on November 1st. From June 1 to 30.
The training period is 3 years.
During this time the graduates are provided with a hostel.
Graduates are provided with equipment for scientific research, educational and scientific literature (in Russian and Ukrainian languages)
