Pillar JSC was founded in December 1991 as an exporter of silicon alloys and chips from Ukraine to the world centers of the semiconductor and photovoltaic industries, immediately after the fall of the iron curtain, when the engineers of the largest producer of semiconductor and IC devices in the former USSR - the factory "Quasar" - Gather their knowledge to start their economic independence.
