The flatness of the finished screed is checked with the help of a 2 m long rod, which is applied to the screed in an optional direction. For this purpose, the length of the gap between the rod and the surface of the screed should be no more than 2 mm x 2 meters. The best base for parquet is waterproof plywood. This base is more expensive, but has the advantage, it is 100% compatible with the base material and parquet, unlike the option of laying parquet on a concrete screed. Plywood is laid by sliver squares, between which an expansion line is left. Waterproofing is performed before laying plywood. Plywood is fixed to the screed with the help of shades and glue. Plywood is sensitive to moisture, therefore, when laying plywood, it is very important to follow the temperature and humidity regime. When laying plywood on the rails, it is imperative that the seams be on the rails. Laying parquet with plywood increases the tension of the floor.
