On 25 August 1999, to comply with the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine 1106 of June 22, 1999 on measures to increase the State Insurance Fund, on the basis of the State Joint Stock Company “Bread of Ukraine”, a subsidiary company was created - “Seed Insurance Fund”. In 2004, in order to provide seeds and suitable partners for cultivation, a subsidiary company was transformed through reorganization into a state-owned enterprise “State Seed Reserve Fund of Ukraine”.
